Bettis Family Reunion
George Washington Bettis family reunion is held every year on the
first Sunday of October.

Held the third Sunday of August at the Terry Park community building, 1/4 mile east of Palmyra. In 1998, the 70th annual Crawford Reunion was held on August 16th. A potluck lunch is served.

The descendants of James and Lenor Daugherty held their annual Family Reunion on August 10, 1997 at the Gillespie Country Club. The dinner was pot-luck. The reunion is held annually about the same time of year.

The quarterly Rose Family Bulletin, published since 1966, is recognized as one of the finest of family publications. Approximately 25-30 pages per issue (individually indexed since December 1982) designed to assist in locating Roses. Includes wills, war files, biographies, census, marriages, photos, queries, war rosters, manuscript items, etc.
The nationwide Rose Family Association formed in 1980, has grown so rapidly that over 1600 have joined. The Newsletter of the Association, also published quarterly, keeps members informed about the activities and includes news items, photos, obituaries, membership lists, lineages, etc.

each year at The Farm Bureau, 220 N Broad St, Carlinville, Macoupin County,
IL.

One does not have to belong to the association to attend the meetings.

Make plans to attend this years reunion. We would love to have all Sharp
family descendants join us at the reunion in Carlinville and help research
our Sharps and their descendants. Bring your material and I think you will
enjoy the visit.
Dues for Sharp Points, the Sharp Family Association newsletter is $10 per year. Four issues are published each year in March, June, September, and December - 26 pages. Queries are free to all who are researching the Sharp family.
