State Level Marriage Certificate Requests
IRAD is cheap if you can find the
marriage record there and don't need the marriage certificate. Ten
cents each. Minimum is $1.00 so get 10 copies or copies of otherd or same certs.
For records 1829-1877 the records are sufficient because they only
have basic info on the certificate such as names, date, marriage
performed by, under age consents.
Certificates after 1877 contain all the information about
the bride and groom.

Local Level Requests for Divorce Information
Write to Linda Kmiecik at email@example.com
or 18310 Blackhawk Drive, Girard, IL 62640-8603, giving
approximate year and the names of the two parties. The requester
should provide information on whether copies of every page are being
requested, or just the complaint and the final
order for the actual
divorce. She will do a search to find the file and determine how
many pages there are and notify the requester what the cost will be. A
requester may still send such a request to the Circuit Clerk's office,
but Linda will eventually pick up that request for responding.
