Comer was located northwest of Carlinville in Section 22 of Bird Township. Comer Post Office was established 2 Apr 1887 and named after Samuel Comer. Comer was disbanded 29 Feb 1904 and the area was changed to RFD Carlinville. Population 6.

Delay(Enos) was located near the Jacksonville
Southeastern Railroad Line. Delay(Enos) had a store
and quite a few town lots.
Delay(Enos) was located in Section 20 of Bird
Township northwest of Carlinville. Delay Post Office
was established 19 Apr 1888 and the name of Delay
Post Office was changed to Enos Post office 10 Apr
1895. On 15 Jun 1913, Enos was disbanded and the
area was changed to RFD, Carlinville.
